A gardener in a sun hat and gloves tending plants

It’s that beautiful in-between time, the last tomatoes coming off the vines, the first frosts whispering. Come along for a few hours of bed-prep before winter, plant out the year’s garlic crop, and stay for soup.

What we’ll be doing

  • Pulling out spent summer crops
  • Topping up beds with compost and mulch
  • Planting garlic (we’ll have stock on hand)
  • A short tour of the seed library if you’re new

What to bring

  • A hat, water bottle, and gardening gloves if you have them (we have spares)
  • Sturdy shoes
  • A bowl and spoon for lunch, we’ll make pumpkin soup from the patch

No experience needed. Kids welcome.
